May 15th, 2025, marks the 14th annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)—a global initiative dedicated to promoting digital accessibility and inclusion for more than one billion people living with disability worldwide. GAAD serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of equitable access to digital information and experiences for all.

At Centre for Accessibility Australia, we proudly support GAAD’s mission and strongly believe that the internet is an essential service. Everyone, regardless of ability, should have equal access to online content, services, and tools.
