Microsoft has announced on its blog new updates of the Microsoft 365 package.  There are a number of updates that will allow people with a disability better accessibility to Microsoft products, including the  sharing of live video in a presentation.

Highlights of the update include:

  • Making hybrid meetings more inclusive using Cameo. This is a feature that allows a live camera feed to appear in a PowerPoint slide slow.
  • Improved captioning and transcription across more platforms – including languages and context
  • Improving how you Create, Collaborate, and consume content – Including Speech to text and redesigned diction experiences across Word, Outlook, and OneNote
  • Reduced number of steps it takes to capture your thoughts – get data from a picture of a table on clipboard
