This Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) is proud to officially launch Accessible Tech for All – a national initiative connecting organisations, individuals, and people with disability to help provide laptops across Australia.
While the initiative is now being formally launched publicly, the work itself has already been underway for some time. Since 2024, CFA Australia has worked directly with the community to provide laptops wherever possible in response to growing need.
Over recent years, we have received increasing requests from people with disability needing access to reliable laptops and technology. To date, more than 100 laptops have already been donated through our community support efforts.
For many people with disability, there are limited funding pathways available to access suitable technology, particularly following ongoing gaps and changes within disability support systems. As demand continued to grow, we recognised the need to formalise and expand this work into a dedicated national initiative – bringing together supporters, donors, and recipients in one place.
The Accessible Tech for All initiative exists because access to technology should never be a barrier to independence, education, employment, connection, or opportunity.
How You Can Help
Organisations & Businesses
If your organisation has surplus or end-of-lease laptops, you can help by donating devices or providing direct funding support.
Rather than sitting unused, donated laptops are securely refurbished and redistributed to people with disability who need them most.

Individuals
Individuals can also directly support accessible technology access through our Give 1, Help 2 campaign, proudly supported by Brayco.
For every $400 donated, one laptop is funded – and Brayco will match it, helping provide a second device to another person in need.
As Brayco CEO Harry Bray explains:
“Brayco has been giving laptops to the program for a couple of years now, and we are blown away by the impact they have. Sadly, many people that need to get online, apply for and do their jobs do not have a laptop to do so.
The return here is transformative, incalculable – but very real. Join us in helping provide the tools needed for people to cross that digital chasm.”
