The Perth Digital Accessibility Conference will return in February 2027, bringing together accessibility professionals, researchers, advocates and people working across digital inclusion.

The one-day conference will be held on Thursday, 11 February 2027 at Edith Cowan University’s new City Campus in Perth, with people also able to attend online.

The theme for 2027 is Breaking Generational Barriers in Digital Spaces, with a focus on making sure digital technology evolves as we age. The conference will explore areas including user research, cross-generational co-design and assistive technology.

Sessions are expected to cover accessible web and app design, inclusive content and communication, assistive technology, accessibility testing, artificial intelligence and emerging technology, and accessibility standards and legal requirements including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). Lived experience and practical case studies will also form part of the program.

The conference is hosted by the Perth Digital A11y Group, which runs regular digital accessibility events throughout the year. The full conference agenda and details about the call for presentations are still to be announced.
