The California State University, Northridge (CSUN) Assistive Technology (AT) Conference, generally regarded as the world’s largest conference relating to digital access, has moved online for the first time in its 36 year history due to the Coronavirus pandemic. As a result, this provides a unique opportunity for people across the world to attend the conference virtually with registrations now open.

In a press release from the Centre of Disabilities at CSUN, it was announced that:

“We want to let you know that Attendee Registration for the 36th Annual CSUN Assistive Technology Conference is now open.  This year’s conference will be held March 8-14, 2021.  For the first time, the CSUN AT Conference will be held virtually, giving everyone across the world the opportunity to experience the premier assistive technology conference.

Please visit CSUN AT Conference for registration information including fees, policies, and important dates and deadlines.

The deadline to register is Tuesday, March 2nd by 3:00 PM (PST).

Pre-Conference Workshops are posted for your review so you can begin planning your CSUN Conference experience.  There are over 200 presentations planned for the 2021 General, Journal and Exhibitor Tracks and the session list will be posted on the conference website soon.”

Although the timing of presentations may be a little challenging for people in the Asia-Pacific region, the ability to attend presentations remotely represents a great opportunity for anyone interested in the latest developments in digital access.
