Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) has released a new video highlighting the key findings of their “Cancellations for All Report,” which was published last year.

The report was supported by the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN).

ACCAN supported the report, saying, “ACCAN is proud to fund projects like this through its Independent Grants Program—making a real-world difference for people with disability.”

The report tested 44 telco apps and websites and found that none fully support consumers with disability in cancelling their mobile service. The report found that whilst some providers scored better than others, improvements are still needed across the board.

The video, which includes Auslan, serves as a reminder of the need for telcos to prioritise accessibility and make their services more inclusive for all Australians.

CFA Australia has also been training telcos on practical steps to make their apps and sites more accessible.
