Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) is proud to share that 100 laptops have been donated to people with disability throughout Australia. As part of this milestone, CFA Australia would like to highlight the immense generosity and support received from Brayco to make this initiative happen. These laptops were set up with the latest Windows 11 operating system and essential Microsoft applications to support productivity and independence.

The donated laptops have been benefiting individuals with a diverse range of disabilities, including physical, cognitive, intellectual, neurological, neurodiversity, acquired brain injury, and PTSD. One of the more recent recipients of these laptops is Corbin, who developed reading and writing difficulties due to injuries sustained from a major accident caused by an intoxicated driver.

Through this experience, Corbin became motivated to pursue social work, particularly to help people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol turn their lives around. Corbin received a scholarship to study towards his social worker qualification at a university in the Northern Territory and the donation of the laptop has allowed Corbin to effectively interact with the materials and resources produced by the university.

Once again, CFA Australia would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Brayco and its CEO, Harry Bray, for their continuous support in ensuring the success of this life-changing initiative.

CFA Australia is committed to sustaining the laptop donation initiative and warmly welcomes additional support. If you or someone you know would like to contribute, please reach out to us at admin@accessibility.org.au.
