Australian Access Awards 2025 logo. Winners announced.

The Australian Access Awards, hosted by Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) and led by Dr. Scott Hollier, celebrated its fourth year last night on November 12th at Optus Stadium in Perth.

The event drew notable guests, including Minister Hannah Beazley MLA and Senator Jordon Steele-John, to recognise outstanding contributions to digital accessibility Australia wide.

Professor Justin Brown was Master of Ceremonies during the evening, which began with drinks and canapés. Alter Boy took the stage as entertainment, bringing the house down!

The presented award, a gleaming golden carrot etched into the trophy, symbolises the power of positive motivation and advocacy, reflecting CFA Australia’s belief in the ‘carrot’ approach – encouraging and rewarding achievements in digital accessibility.

The Awards honoured exceptional achievements in government, education, corporate, and not-for-profit sectors, and inducted two Hall of Fame winners.
