Free Website Accessibility Audits for Disability Support Organisations in WA EOIs

Are you an organisation providing disability support services in Western Australia? Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) is inviting organisations to apply for a free website accessibility audit through the Digital Access WA Project.

Adding on to free website accessibility audits provided to not-for-profit organisations, primary and secondary schools, and rural and remote local government entities in WA, we are pleased to extend this initiative to organisations providing disability support services in both metropolitan and regional WA.

As part of this project, participating organisations will receive a free website accessibility audit to help identify barriers that may prevent people with disability from accessing their online information and services.

Organisations will also receive a customised roadmap with practical recommendations for improving their website’s accessibility in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.

For disability support organisations, digital accessibility is particularly important. People with disability need to be able to find information, understand their options and access the services available to them without facing unnecessary barriers.

Selection criteria for participation

To be eligible for the Digital Access WA Project, organisations must meet the following criteria:

Have a physical presence in Western Australia;
Provide disability support-related services;
Be interested in learning about and improving digital accessibility;
Be willing to receive a website accessibility audit and consider implementing recommendations for improvement;
Commit to participating in impact measurement activities conducted in partnership with The Behaviour Change Collaborative, such as surveys;
Demonstrate a commitment to improving digital accessibility over the longer term;
Be willing to share their digital accessibility journey and experiences with other organisations in the sector.

Selection Process

CFA Australia, with support from the Western Australian Department of Communities, will select participating organisations based on their Expressions of Interest.

Priority will be given to organisations providing disability support services in regional and remote Western Australia.

Expressions of Interest close on 18th December 2026. Applicants will be notified of the outcome following the selection process.
