Free Audits for Local Government Entity EOIs

Are you part of a Local Government Entity in Western Australia passionate about accessibility and inclusion? If so, we are excited to invite you to partner with us in a ground-breaking project aiming to improve digital access across the state.

As part of an extension to ‘The Digital Access WA Project’, Centre for Accessibility Australia is offering free accessibility audits to Local Government Entities based in the Perth metropolitan area as well as in regional WA. These accessibility audits are facilitated with the aim of enhancing website accessibility for people with disability. This initiative supports Local Government Entities by evaluating and auditing their website’s current level of digital access, receiving customised roadmaps to understand what needs to be done to achieve their accessibility goals, and practical steps for implementation in line with WCAG 2.2, as mandated by the Australian Human Rights Commission to ensure equitable access for all users, especially for critical digital services such as government websites.

If you are interested in having your local government entity considered for this free audit initiative, please fill out the online EOI form by 28th November 2025.
